Pedigree Adoption Drive

This year we’re teaming up with Pedigree, to try to improve the lives of abandoned dogs across the country. The Pedigree Adoption Drive is aiming to highlight the plight of abandoned dogs and make people aware that over 100,000 dogs are abandoned each year and that every hour, one of these abandoned dogs is put down.

We, along with Pedigree, believe that every dog deserves a second chance. Over the last two years, the Pedigree Adoption Drive has helped to raise over £1,000,000 for abandoned dogs in the UK. We hope to help Pedigree this year through our expertise and existing relationships with shelters across the country to help decide where the money raised will make the biggest difference and award grants, based on applications from individual charities.

At least £100 will be donated to each ADCH home. The remainder of the fund is given to homes based on their applications, and the impact they will have on dog welfare in the UK. This is decided and then agreed by PPCT.
